After trying 3 other, finally found the one that really works.
A well engineered piece of equipment that slices through biltong with ease and gives the benefit of slicing through a decent volume without the price tag and heft of an automatic slicer. I like the variable setting as well depending on how I want to slice the biltong.
Bought my first slicer 40 years ago, the new one is for a friend.
My claasen cuts my biltong perfect everytime, i should have invested years ago
Fast, efficient and amazing quality
Very efficient, thank you
I grew up with this biltong slicer in my folks' home and haven't had an issue till date, so I HAD to have the same investment. Best product I've bought myself.
Great slicer
Baie tevrede met die produk. Uitstekende kwaliteit en aanpasbaarheid vir huislike gebruik! Baie dankie.
Best experience and services. From ordering to delivery exceptional. Will recommend this company to everybody. Quality product for my Son in Luxembourg. He will definitely use this for his homemade biltong. Thanks
Superfast shipping, great delivery and love the slicer!! Got what we expected!
Very happy
I bought the biltong slicer for my husband. He is very happy with it.
Gift for family.
Great at slicing. As with these machines the safety tunnel prevents you from putting in with your hand up to a point. When you push the rest in with the prodder the steak flips around and slices with the grain which can be a little annoying. But I understand that there may not be a way around this. Overall works as well maybe better than any slicer of this kind
Store owner replied: Thank you for the detailed review! We’re glad to hear that you’re happy with the slicer’s performance. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the biltong turning during the final part of slicing. The mouth piece is designed to minimize the risk of possible accidents, but we completely understand your point. We designed the mouth piece so that the user can use their thumbs to push nearly to the end and then use the feeder to push the remaining +-30mm of Biltong through. Feedback like this is incredibly valuable to us as we continually look for ways to improve our products. We’ll certainly look into this to see whether there are any safe alternatives or improvements we can make regarding the final cuts. Thank you for choosing Claasens!

Fast post to the UK. Thank you. Blade has paid for its self as no more cutting waste. Very sharp.
Bought the hand operating biltong slicer which appears sturdy, Works well by making easy work of slicing biltong. The unit will be making its way to Australia when I fly back.
The bowl fits perfectly, i would have expected a smoother finish on the inside or an enamel coating.
Baie te vrede dankie
