Bought the hand operating biltong slicer which appears sturdy, Works well by making easy work of slicing biltong. The unit will be making its way to Australia when I fly back.

Very happy with my purchase. Slicing through the biltong like a hot knife through butter. Very happy to be able to adjust sizes. I am able to cut large, thick sized biltong. Easy to clean. The order was delivered quick and seamless. The design is rock solid and will last many years and will be able to cut large amounts of biltong.

It works fantastic on my Namibian Yellow Fat Biltong as well as with my German Salami. Excellent product, will have to order the tray as well. Kind regards Andre

We've had ours for years and years, it's like an old friend, it feels like he's just always been there - you know. We've sliced everything with it, onions and potatoes for potato bake and homemade chips; polony and ham for sarmies; homemade bacon gets sliced to perfection before going into the pan. We cannot do life without him, and he has a permanent place at the kitchen counter, just like a friend should.

Effortless, Consistent Slicing without Eskom! I bought the adjustable slicer for my home-based biltong business back in November 2024 and I have not regretted the purchase for a second. I do however wish that I bought with the conveniently placed tray. The blade is locally serviceable and the open design makes it easy to clean and maintain. The product is relatively lightweight and portable for easy storage and require no electricity to work - perfect for your biltong wagon or shop during loadshedding! Highly recommended.
Wat 'n lekker kerwer om mee te werk tydens krag onderbrekings. Die dikte stelling is 'n baie groot plus punt. Is die bo lem beskermer beskikbaar los te koop, en sal hy op die kerwer pas? Met spoed spat die biltong die hele winkel vol.
I absolutely love this product! I have had mine about 4.5 years now and have sliced many a piece of biltong, it has never let me down and is a fixture on my counter. I, personally, do not think there is a better product available today.
Purchased and exported to U.K in August 2017 together with the metal bowl and spare blade so I have owned this for nearly 8 years. Get bulletproof bit of kit and I am still on my first blade! It is really a 5 star product but I have given 4 stars to highlight a couple of minor issues which may have already been resolved in the years since I bought mine. 1. The wooden handle has a metal pin which goes through and should be secured on the other side. Mine came off early on and athe pin is not threaded so no idea how it was attached. So I sort of have to hold the handle against the slicer when I am using it. Not the end of the world but a replacement pin or theeaded one would be helpful. 2. The cut adjustment knob does not stay in position for very long. When slicing, I have to constantly readjust the knob back to thinner slicibg as it start opening up after a about 10 cuts and suddenly my slices are thicker. It just does not stay in place. As I said, not the end of the world but just feedback for improvements. Happy with mine and would buy it again.

This is better than sliced bread. I bought mine 3 years ago and it is still running strong. Gutting biltong for 7 grandchildren is a breeze. The thickness adjustment come in very handy. I even bought a second blade but the original blade is still as sharp as new. Thanks for this excellent product.
Excellent product!!!! using one like this for 3 years now. Same blade!! Can rinse and wash after use. Not just cutting biltong.... Onion rings, tomatoes, other vegetables. Extremely versatile!! You won't go wrong! It's an investment this!!
One eighty year old and one forty year old. Both going strong and never failed. Perfect in all the work they do. And looking so good.
