The Friendship Experience

  1. Fuel Up: Place a tin of Chafer Fuel (gel) into the stand. You can refill using 5L gel cans for economy.
  2. Cook: Brown onions first, then meat. Add vegetables and spices. A great potjie takes patience—allow about an hour for best results.
  3. Control: Extinguish by replacing the fuel tin lid or the potjie lid.
  4. Care: Wash with warm soapy water before first use. Hand wash only after use and store away.
Pro Tip: Smaller pieces of meat and vegetables cook faster and are ideal for tabletop dining sessions with friends.
